Promoted by Gumtree; as part of National Recycling Week, the first National Upcycling Day aimed to inspire the British public to tap into their creative juices

Worcestershire Festival of Business

On Sunday 6th September 2015, UNIQ took part in its first Worcestershire Festival of Business, organised by Twitter’s #Worcestershirehour founder Stuart Allen, attended by local MP Harriett Baldwin and supported by a range of high profile and small businesses.

When I first started UNIQ, I registered with a Worcestershire scheme called ‘Enterprising Worcestershire’. The scheme supports start-ups and post start-up businesses

When I started UNIQ in 2014, I simultaneously discovered and became one of the founder members of a Twitter community which grew and grew to become the phenomenon that was UpcycledHour.

Vintage Home Shows

One of the joys and ‘byproducts’ of my business is that I often have the opportunity to take possession of beautiful retro and vintage furniture from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

London Upcycling Show

Promoted by Groundwork London and the North London Waste Authority, the London Upcycling Show is a great event which has got bigger and better each year since its debut in 2016.
