A customer commission; this wine cooler was made using a standard domestic washing machine drum, beautiful reclaimed oak and a custom made stainless steel bucket. Designed for a 50th birthday and commissioned by the customers mother it can be filled with enough ice, wine and Champagne to keep any party going!
My main focus for this commission, as in all of my work was style and quality! The oak was reclaimed from a barn conversion and the washing machine drum came from an old machine destined for recycling. The stainless steel bucket was manufactured locally and powder coated in a satin black to contrast with the drum.
