Not one for the purists/antique experts this one! Another commission with great sentimental value, this mahogany table was a wedding a gift, many years ago, to my customers who asked me to give it a contemporary twist for their beautiful new riverside self-build property.
After initial repairs to the frame, winding mechanism (the table extends to almost 8ft. with two additional leaves) and top, I repainted the frame using the customer’s choice of paint colour and replaced the old casters with new, bespoke made bun feet to make it more practical, sturdy and floor friendly!
I do not use chalk paint in my work, so if you need to refurbish an old piece of furniture to the highest standards, just get in touch!
