Salvaged from a school and roadside (yes …roadside!), saved from landfill and transformed into an original and quirky bistro set, perfect for a balcony, deck or coffee shop! These steel chairs were stripped and lacquered, along with the classroom table frame. The table top was constructed using reclaimed timber from my own reserves.
As I salvage most of my furniture from schools and industry, I also have a stock of reclaimed timber which I have collected over the last few years which I use in my upcycling projects. The final quirky twist with this set is the artificial grass (reclaimed, of course!) which gave the chairs a surprisingly soft seat!
