Wychavon Intelligently Green Awards 2016
Wychavon’s Intelligently Green awards are designed to recognise businesses, individuals, community groups and schools who help to make Wychavon District a greener place to live.
In 2016, I was asked to design and make the awards using reclaimed materials, whilst also being nominated for an award. I used a variety of steel parts, including a bicycle sprocket, large bearing parts from a Rolls Royce aeroplane engine and salvaged Oak.
The presentation evening, held at Pershore College was hosted by Alistair McGowan and I was very happy to jointly win the award for small businesses.
In 2018, I again was asked to produce the awards for the scheme which I made in the form of trees, made from a variety of reclaimed timbers. (see photos)
