SBS Awards 2019

In February 2019, I was really pleased and honoured to be chosen as one of the weekly winners of a Twitter ‘Small Business Sunday’ Award, chosen by ex-Dragons Den, Theo Paphitis  the weekly initiative set up by Theo in 2010.

Having tweeted Theo about my business, I was fortunate to be one of six weekly winners to gain a retweet, by Theo, to his 500,000+ Twitter followers!

I collected my award at the SBS live event held at the ICC in Birmingham. The annual event held to promote and encourage UK small businesses is hosted by Theo and is a chance for the 2500+ winners to meet, network and listen to inspiring presentations from successful entrepreneurs.

This year’s guest was Sir Tom Hunter, entrepreneur and philanthropist and Scotland’s first self made billionaire, who started his business with a £10k loan, selling trainers in the 1980s.
